Elliott Harrison

I'm Elliott Harrison, a filmmaker, editor, and writer based in Manchester, currently seeking a career in the industry. I’m the sole creator of Desperate Solutions, an award-nominated short film that was recognised by the BFI at the 2021 Eduqas Moving Image Awards. I have a strong passion for storytelling - both visually and through writing - and I take pride in bringing creative ideas to life through editing, cinematography, and direction. My second-year project, Conscription, was shortlisted at the 2024 KINO 76 Film Festival, which reaffirmed my commitment to pushing creative boundaries.

Over the past few years, I’ve taken on a variety of roles across the film and media industry, from working on high-budget productions with MARV Studios to producing short-form content for Art Gallery TV and documenting live theatre in London. These experiences have taught me how to work efficiently under pressure, communicate clearly, and adapt quickly to new environments. I’m deeply interested in emerging technologies and digital storytelling, and I’m always looking for new opportunities to grow, collaborate, and create meaningful work.
